2020 BaumaLight Fixed Tooth Mulcher for Mini Excavator iMX748R

As with the standard iMX748, the iMX748R brush mulcher will efficiently mulch heavy brush and trees and is designed for contractors, rental and any other heavy duty mulching and land clearing. The difference is aggressive root rake teeth build into the frame to rip out rocks and move logs and has a heavier duty body build with AR400 steel that is the same weight but much stronger than mild steel. The standard 700 Series teeth are available in either Ripper or Planer style. The carbide Ripper tooth is the perfect general use tooth, their v-shaped design shreds through brush and makes them less vulnerable in areas plagued by rocks and debris. The 700 Series Planer style tooth provides the most efficient cutting by smoothly chipping away at the brush. It’s flat profile however makes it vulnerable to shattering on impact with rocks and other debris. Unique to the 700 Series teeth is the Cup and Cone mount, which is machined into the holder and forged into the teeth. Engineered to take all the strain off the mounting bolt and eliminating shearing forces, these carbide teeth are bolted in place.

Heavy-duty teeth holders resist bending and keep you working longer.

For smoother mulching, the spiral tool pattern allows one tooth to engage at a time.

The MX530R, MX548R and iMX748R are equipped with a root rake for pushing fallen logs or other debris out of the way. The MX548R and iMX748R utilize replaceable bucket-style scrapper teeth.

The relief valve protects the motor and the hydraulic system from pressure spikes. When an obstacle is hit the relief valves open and relieves the pressure.

A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. This offers protection from the shocks inherent in mulching.

The rear of the unit is guarded by a chain curtain so standing brush enters and mulched debris exits.
