The Great Plains NTA-2007 and NTA-3007 are highly productive air drills designed for the mid-sized farmer. In spite of their vast working widths, these 20' and 30' air drills fold to under 10' wide for easier transport from field to field.

Each of these implements comes equipped with either standard 00 Series openers or 00HD heavy-duty openers. The 00HD option features 15", 4mm-thick disc blades, along with a cast blade separator and full-length seed tube to accurately place seed. 00HD openers feature a 30% stronger spring, providing up to 245 lbs. of penetration force that allows for operation in minimum-till and light no-till conditions. An 18-position press wheel with T-handle depth control ensures accurate seeding depth and closing of the seed trench.

The two-section NTA-2007 offers three cart configurations. Operators can choose to seed with a single 150-bushel hopper; seed and apply dry fertilizer with two 82-bushel hoppers; or seed and apply liquid fertilizer with two 200-gallon tanks and a single 82-bushel hopper.

The three-section NTA-3007 offers a working width of 30' and two 100-bushel hoppers for bulk seed and/or dry fertilizer applications.

Both models utilize 07 Series openers and an integrally-mounted coulter/row-unit combination that allows the opener to move independently of the coulter. Each double disc opener features 13.5", 4mm blades, 205 triple-lip seal bearings, and has a 1/4" opener lead. The seed tubes are uniquely designed to deliver seed consistently to the precise spot in the seed trench.

Features may include:

• Retain the high productivity of an air drill in a unit that folds to under 10-ft. wide for easy transport along roadways and between fields.

• Ensures that all rows have the same amount of weight available for penetration - even when crossing undulations.

• Two (2) 100-bushel hoppers, wide walkboards, and ladders combine to make an air drill that keeps you in the field.

• A single fan supplies air to a divided manifold where the star-wheel meters drop the seed into the airflow of each tower. The towers use a transition cone to uniformly divide the seed to individual rows. Full-length seed tubes complete the process, delivering seed to the bottom of the trench.

• Choose either 7½" or 6" row spacing for crops like alfalfa and wheat.

• Single press wheel options include 3"x13" double* or center rib, or 2"x13" smooth. 1.25"x13" double wedge-style or 1"x12" double-V press wheels are also available (NTA-2007 models only).

• The integrated cart-to-implement design offers exceptional maneuverability when backing into a storage shed or the corners of a field. Active hydraulic weight transfer maintains even, consistent penetration across the entire width of the implement.

• This system splits no-till seeding into two operations: penetration and seed placement. Preloaded at 450 lbs., frame-mounted coulters get the job done by working at the desired depth to ensure optimum seed placement for a uniform stand. Increase coulter depth to penetrate hard, dry soils, or reduce coulter depth in soft conditions. This allows the 07 Series double-disc openers to properly place the seed. Seeding depth is set by the 18-position T-handle at the rear of the opener. Coulter choices include ¾" wavy, 5/8" Turbo, or a 5/16" fluted blade, or opt for no coulters, if desired.
