2020 Great Plains EO-100 Series
5 or 6 FurrowsThe EO-100 Series plow offers high performance for on-land and in-furrow operations. Switching between the two operations is easy. The driver can control the mainframe hydraulically to move the plow to the desired position.
The Kverneland steel, heat treatments, and design allow this plow to excel even in the toughest conditions. The 120 x 200mm single box section frame is induction heat treated. In addition, the heavy-duty headstock provides the necessary strength to pull heavy loads while protecting the hoses and wires.
Despite its size, the EO-100 Series plow remains easy to maneuver. The unique Kverneland steel reduces the weight of the plow by 10-20% compared to competitors. During the turnover operation, the plow is moved to the center of the tractor. The plow's center of gravity is balanced with the tractor for a smooth turnover.
Kverneland EO-100 Series plows also feature Variomat® hydraulic working width adjustments. This allows quick and easy plow bottom working width changes from 14" to 20" from the tractor cab, even on the go.
Features may include:
VARIOMAT- Variomat® allows quick and easy plow bottom working width changes from 14" to 20" from the tractor cab, even on the go.
- These plows are capable of working on-land or in-furrow depending on the preference of the operator, the stability of the ground due to moisture levels, or the limitations of the available tractor.
- This allows the steel to withstand the toughest conditions and be more robust.
- Provides more stability than single depth wheels.
- Strong 3-point mount accommodates a wide range of implement mounting options.
- A fully automatic non-stop Auto-Reset System is vital to trouble-free plowing in stony conditions. The simple multi-leaf spring system allows the plow beams to release over stones and other solid objects in a smooth and efficient manner. This avoids sudden jolts and possible damage. Once the plow has passed by the obstruction, the plow body automatically returns to the correct plowing depth.
